So it seems that Kaizer Chiefs captain and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is howing his fans and supporters that he knows where his bread is buttered and that on the Kaizer Chiefs side of life.

Itumeleng Khune has apparently see that the grass is only greener on the AmaKhosi side of the field and that it’s set to only get greener has the talented goalkeeper plans to win silver with Kaizer Chiefs.

“Khune appears to not have any intentions of leaving Naturena as he feels that there are no greener pastures and wants to win silverware with Amakhosi”, his agent said Dan Lichman is quoted as saying in the media.

“Given that Chiefs’ proposal only came in recently, I doubt that anything will get done this week,” said Dan Lichman, Khune’s agent said on Soccer Laduma this week.

“Itu is a big player for Chiefs – he’s fit, playing games and wants to lead them to trophies this season.”

As seen above Itumeleng Khune  posted that picture on Instagram with the words: “Khune wethu akayi ndawo (Our Khune is not going anywhere)”.

He also added the caption: “I’m Forever Grateful for the #LOVE&SUPPORT I get from my people.”

We guess we’ll see after the transfer window closes if Khune is really on the Chiefs side of the field.
