It Looks Like AKA Has Finally Paid Damages To The Jiyane Family!

Honestly speaking, baby Kairo is like baby of the moment in South Africa right now. It’s like the USA has little North and we have Kairo.

Now the biggest drama surrounding DJ Zinhle and AKA’s relationship is the fact that they had a baby out of wedlock.

Well not so long ago we reported that the Jiyane family wasn’t too pleased about that and that Zinhle’s uncles were patiently waiting for AKA’s family to come forward with a ‘damage’ fee.

In the Zulu culture it’s said that if a woman has a child out of wedlock the male that’s responsible for the pregnancy needs to come forward and pay a ‘damage’ fee for the ‘mistake’ that he has made.

It looks like AKA has finally done right by that culture and has come forward to pay his damage fee. The rapper took to Instagram yesterday to share an image of a cow being slaughtered and well his caption that read “Kairo” with a fe emoji’s suggested that the ceremony was for baby Kairo.

We’re really glad that even in these modern days, people still pay respect to cultural customs.
