Is Generations: The Legacy Getting Cancelled? Despite consistently being one of the most watched shows in the country, it seems like trouble seem to follow the local soapie Generations since the other cast got fired.

The show has received some backlash over some sexual scenes shown in recent episodes with some viewers finding the scenes offensive.

But you can relax, the show is here to stay. “We won’t be cancelling Generations. It will resume as normal until we have made a decision,” SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyag told TshisaLive.

Kganyahgo also added that they were taking the viewer’s complains seriously hence they will not air the repeat episodes of the ‘offensive episodes’.

“We have noted the complaints that were laid with both us and the BCCSA. We decided to not air the episodes from last week because some of them were the episodes which we received the complaints about and we wanted to show that we take those complaints seriously,” he said.
