It all began, at least publicly after a fan asked Unathi on Instagram how she could remain friends with Somizi following abuse allegations against him from his e husband Mohale. In response Unathi denied being friends with Somizi.

Somizi did not respond at the time, but what better way to address the situation than on his reality show? Like all the headlining stories Somizi is currently part of, he addressed it on his show. “

“Honestly, I was shocked, I was disappointed but it is what it is. Sometimes when people show you who they are, you leave them. Someone that I thought we were OK with went public. The devil does not want to see me prosper. This day has been a day and a half,” he said on his show.
