Ilano was the only one out of this week’s nine nominated housemates to be evicted, officially confirming this season’s Top 10. The remaining contestants — Ashay, Bravo B, Didi, King Wanda, Liema, Mmeli, Que, Thandeka, The Don, and Trixie, are now one step closer to the grand prize as the competition grows even more intense.

As the show’s first transgender housemate, Ilano made a lasting impression during her time in the house. She entered the competition with confidence and used the platform to express herself freely.

Shortly after her eviction on Sunday, Ilano took to her social media to thank her supporters in an emotional message. She wrote:

“Dear Gadlaza Nation and everyone who loves entertainment, Firstly, thank you for your unwavering dedication and support for llano.

Her journey on Big Brother Mzansi has come to an end, but this is not the end of her story. It is simply the beginning of a new chapter, one filled with greater wins and many exciting opportunities that we would love for you to be part of.

Being part of Big Brother Mzansi was truly a blessing for llano, she wanted this and it was evident. As we all witnessed, she used the platform to showcase her incredible talents, vibrant energy, and to proudly represent the LGBTIQ+ community in the best way she knew how. She remained authentic, fearless, and unapologetically herself throughout.

We warmly invite you to continue supporting llano on her journey beyond the Big Brother Mansi house. Your encouragement, your votes, your messages, and your unwavering belief in her are what made this experience so meaningful. Every cheer, every kind word, and every moment you stood by her served as a reminder of why she entered that house in the first place so she could shine brightly and stay true to who she is. Thank you for riding this wave with llano, and we hope you will continue to do so. She sees you. She appreciates you. And she will carry your love and support into everything she does next.

This is not goodbye , it’s just the beginning.”

Although her time in the house has ended, Ilano’s message makes it clear that she sees this as the start of something new. Her fans, known as Gadlaza Nation, continue to rally behind her as she begins her next chapter beyond the Big Brother Mzansi house.
