Now we don’t know if DJ Sbu’s days are getting better or worse by the day. He would probably say better because it seems like any publicity for his energy drink MoFaya is good publicity for him!
Metro FM has decided to cup their relationship with the radio DJ and entrepreneur right before releasing a date for his disciplinary hearing. We guess his case is a lost one because they didn’t even give him a chance to stand for himself.
This comes after Sbu was suspended from Metro a couple of weeks ago for using the Metro FM Awards platform to advertise MoFaya. There were reports last week of audits being done on all of Sbu’s shows to catch out all the number of times he mentioned MoFaya on air as that would be considered free advertising and Metro was set to send him an invoice for the advertising.
A source told Sunday World that TV presenter and now club DJ Lerato Kganyago will be replacing DJ Sbu on his Saturday slot on Metro FM, it’s also said that the show’s name will be changed.
