Atandwa Kani has had himself quite the busy year between making time for his kids and the new woman in his life, the actor has come out to confirm that he actually isn’t the father of Thembisa Mdoda’s twins.
It’s reported that Atandwa was left in shock after he discovered the heartbreaking news.
Atandwa was in a relationship with new Our Perfect Wedding host, and was even fighting for custody.
A source told Sunday Sun: “When Tembisa took him to court for papgeld, he wanted to take the kids from her. And that battle led to paternity tests. The results confirmed Atandwa’s fears that Tembisa had been cheating on him all along…”
Atandwa confirmed the news to the publication: “I was dumbfounded. I can’t describe the feeling I had when the sad news was delivered to me. I’ve been there for the kids since day one. I was even there in theatre when they were born!”
He then adds that he’s invested quite a lot in the kids from finances to emotional investments.
“All I wanted was to be the father of those kids. And I still struggle to accept the results. I asked my family for advice. I met with my dad, mum and siblings to discuss it,” he adds.
Sunday Sun shares that Thembisa refused to comment on the matter.
