Hulisani Ravele Addresses The Viral ‘Lobola’ Photo! Back in May, the media personality sent shockwaves across the internet after a photo of herself at what looked like a lobola ceremony went viral.

There were speculations that the photo was taken from Hulisani’s lobola ceremony in Venda and she was keeping her man private. As it turns out, Hulisani did not get married and the event was not hers. Hulisani addressed the speculations on her show a week ago saying, “My freckles and I laugh off the fake news that I had a traditional wedding this weekend.”

“When the day eventually comes around, it’s definitely not going to be made a public affair and my partner will first have to go about things the traditional way and write a letter to my family expressing his intention to marry me. Only then can he go down on one knee and pop the question and win me over because some things just have to be done right,” she explained.

Taking to Instagram, she finally shared photos from her borther’s day also clearing up the rumors. “3 frames of joy…. And now, the credit you’re really waiting for… Event: My brother’s 40th & Home Blessing… Have a blessed week bo beyps,” she captioned the photos.
