Tbo Touch seems to be in hot water again with his bosses at Metro FM. The radio host has been noticeably off air and many listeners have wondered why. Well, here’s the real reason why Tbo Touch is off air, he allegedly had a feud with the station manager Sibongile Mtshali.
Tbo who is no stranger to controversy is said to have had an argument with the station manager over one of his segments on Touchdown. Sibongile wanted the segment to be 20 minutes long whilst Tbo Touch wanted it be an hour long.
The SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago however denied that Tbo Touch was taken off his show due to his alleged argument with the station manager. “There is no feud between Sibongile and Tbo Touch‚ that I know of”, she said.
Kganyago says Tbo Touch was taken off air because of ‘various issues’. “There are various issues that the management is dealing with regarding Tbo Touch’s role on Metro FM. However‚ until those issues are solved‚ he will be off air.”
This is not the first time Tbo Touch has been suspended by Metro FM, we just hope he won’t end up like DJ Sbu.Some reports say this was due to promoting his product range of fragrances‚ mobile money services and condoms called Touch Lifestyle‚ on air.
Meanwhile Touch seems unbothered, taking to Instagram showing off his other work life. Judging by the comments on the post, his fans want him back on air.
