Reality TV star and DJ, Gogo Skhotheni has announced that she is leaving Cavo Lounge, the popular club she launched just a few months ago. The star, who is known for her DJ career and vibrant personality, is now turning her attention to something even closer to her heart—a brand-new club in her hometown of Frankfort.
In a heartfelt post shared on social media, Gogo Skhotheni made the big announcement:
“A Very Personal Announcement: I’m no longer in partnership with Cavo. While that chapter has come to an end, it sparked something powerful in me—the courage to start from scratch and build something of my own. With that said, I’m proud and emotional to share that I’ll be opening my very own spot this August in Frankfort—my hometown, the place where my parents were born, and where my roots run deep. This is more than just a business—it’s personal. It’s legacy. It’s home.”
She also encouraged her followers to be part of the journey. “Please follow the page @haa.gogo for all updates and behind the scenes as we build this dream together. Your support means more than you know,” she added.
Skhotheni’s new place, called Ha Gogo, is already under construction. On the new business’s Instagram page, she posted:
“This one is straight from the heart. Ha Gogo is being built right where my granny’s home is, where my roots are. It’s such a proud moment to bring something meaningful back home. We’re not just building a club—we’re building a space for the community, for jobs, opportunities, and real vibes. We’re officially under construction, and the doors will be opening soon. Can’t wait to welcome you all to something that means so much to me.”
Just a few months ago, Skhotheni launched Cavo Lounge in Maboneng, Johannesburg, with much excitement.
“Welcome to @club_cavo. What a journey. I always wanted to own a club, now I am watching it unfold,” she said at the time.
She also described it as more than just a nightlife spot: “Looking for a place that radiates good vibes? Look no further! @club_cavo is more than just a club—it’s a community where everyone can come together to relax, connect, and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere.”
