GLAMOUR’s iconic fashion awards, GLAMOUR’s Most GLAMOROUS, are making a grand comeback after a four-year hiatus. Sponsored by Neutrogena, the event was hosted on June 6th at Zeitz Mocaa in Cape Town, Africa’s largest contemporary art museum. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to empowering women through beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
Guests were treated to an immersive experience, with exhibition stands from top brands such as Bernini, Motherkind Collagen, Goldwell, Coach, Arc, Foschini, and Aston Martin. These stands offered makeup and hair touch-ups, product demonstrations, and the latest fashion trends, ensuring attendees left feeling pampered and inspired.
The evening honoured several trailblazing women in fashion and entertainment. Among them was Presenter Nomalanga Shozi, recipient of the Most Stylish Entertainer Award presented by Foschini. Known for her charismatic presence and impeccable style, Nomalanga captivates audiences both on and off the stage. As a TV presenter and media personality, her unique flair for fashion has made her one of the most stylish entertainers in the industry. Whether she’s gracing the red carpet or hosting events, Nomalanga always brings her A-game.
Nandi Madida, the recipient of the Classic Elegance Award presented by Witchery Fashion, was also be celebrated. A successful media personality, businesswoman, and MC, Nandi embodies timeless elegance. Her sophisticated sense of style and refined taste have made her a favourite among fashion designers and stylists. From elegant gowns to tailored suits, Nandi exudes classic elegance and isn’t afraid to experiment with her looks.
The Red Carpet Glamour Award, presented by Motherkind, goes to Thembi Seete. A musician-turned-actress, Thembi first captured hearts as part of the kwaito group Boom Shaka. She has since evolved into an unstoppable force in the entertainment industry, epitomising classic glamour. Her head-turning looks, including her memorable Bridgerton ensemble, make her an icon on and off the red carpet.
Finally, Zozibini Tunzi received the Emerging Style Icon Award presented by Coach. The former Miss SA and Miss Universe is making waves in the fashion industry with her bold colours and unconventional silhouettes. Zozibini’s confident presence and unique sense of style continue to attract attention from brands and fashion lovers alike.
