Sad news for all Xolelwa fans. Generations: The Legacy’s Xolelwa road comes to an end on the show. Mahlatse Letoka was ‘released’ from the soapie after her storyline came to an end, Generations spokesperson Gaaratwe Mokhethi confirmed to a local publication.

Gaaratwe said that the show’s writers had run out of ideas of what more to do with her character. “When you have a character who goes through so much, it is difficult to have them return to a normal life. That was the challenge we had with Xolelewa.”

We can’t wait to see her slay other roles in the future!
