Fulu Mungovhani wins African Movie Academy Award for best actress in a lead role in ‘Ayanda’. The Scandal actress becomes the first South African actress to win the prestigious award. Fellow South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha was also nominated in the same category for her role in ‘Tell Me Sweet Something’.
Fulu took to Instagram to share her excitement over her latest achievement. “Oh… It’s just me with my AFRICA MOVIE ACADEMY AWARD! I’m so honored and grateful for this, words cannot begin to explain it,” she captioned a sweet photo of herself holding her AMAA.
