The wait is over for fans of The Mommy Club !The highly anticipated reunion special of this reality show, which follows glamorous Jozi momfluencers navigating the challenges of parenting and the competitive world of “it moms,” will be available on Showmax starting June 10, 2024. The reunion will be divided into three parts, with Parts 1 and 2 dropping on June 10, and Part 3 following on June 17. Hosted by Ntombi Ngcobo-Mzolo, this reunion promises to deliver all the drama, tears, and heartfelt moments viewers crave.
Season 2 introduced two new cast members, Nozipho Zulu and Jabulile Sande, who brought the fabulosity, class, glamour, and wealth that fans of the show love to see. They joined returning cast members Hermajesty, Mrs. Mops, Nunurai, and Ratile, creating a dynamic mix of personalities and plenty of on-screen fireworks.
Mrs. Mops reflected on her Season 2 experience, saying, “My experience this season was good. I had fun. It was amazing.” When addressing her relationship with Happy Simelane and the season’s conflicts, she commented, “Happy is a wonderful human being, and if you provoke her, she will come for you. She’s actually a lovely girl but she doesn’t take any nonsense. So for me, with the fights and everything, they were justified because people were coming for her.”
Happy Simelane shared her perspective on the season, describing it as “emotionally draining” and “very hectic.” She believes the group has become divided with the arrival of the new ladies, stating, “Others came with an agenda and others were just genuine and pure and took everything as it came.” Reflecting on her confrontation with Mrs. Sande in the last episode, she expressed regret over her reaction but stood by her stance: “I think I made it clear that if you provoke me, you’ll get what you want.”
Mrs. Sande, on the other hand, spoke about her evolving relationship with Happy Simelane, noting, “My relationship with Her Majesty is very interesting. It looked like I went to the show to attack her, but it wasn’t the case. We amended our relationship and are building a very good friendship, which I’m happy about.”
