DJ Zinhle And Other Celebs React To Costa Titch’s Passing. The unfortunate passing of Costa Titch has sent shock waves across “celebville” and the entertainment industry with celebs like DJ Zinhle, Ntando Duma and more taking to their socials to express their disbelief.
The untimely passing of Constantionos “Costa Titch” Tsobangoglou, 28, has caused shock and sadness not only in South Africa but also aroudn the world. The Amapiano star, passed away while performing on stage on Saturday, 11 March at the Ultra Music Festival. The music festival was being held at the Nasrec Expo Centre, Johannesburg. His family confirmed his passing in a press release on social media.
A plethora of industry colleagues and fans have taken to social media since his passing to pay their respects and express their sorrows. DJ Zinhle, who shares a child with late rapper, AKA–one of Costa Titch’s close industry colleagues took to her Instagram social to write, “It never ends.” The DJ also went on to share a couple of photos on her Instagram of AKA and Costa Titch, from the time they worked on a music project together.
Ntando Duma penned a lengthy moving tribute accompanied with photos and videos of Costa Titch gifting her a birthday cake and from a photo shoot they did together. She expressed how stunned and heartbroken she was and that a few hours before his passing they had had a phone call conversation. She also went on to share how much of an extraordinary, genuinely kind and wonderful man he was.
” This one hits harder cause I was just talking to you a few hours ago. You were one of a few selfless and caring humans I’ve ever known in my life. You were so kind, so good at your craft, so damn hardworking and yet so humble. Your humility got me everytime. I’m deeply shattered by your passing, Costa…” the lengthy caption read.
Actor, Hungani Ndlovu who once did some choreography work and dance challenges with Costa Titch took to his Instagram to share a forty second video of the two of them and other individuals dancing to his hit song Nkalakatha. “Titch Gang,” Ndlovu captioned a series of videos and photos with Costa Titch.
RobotBoii took to his twitter sharing how Costa Tich had actually manifested making a name for himself and making it big in the music industry, ” ‘After this I’m gonna do music & I’m gonna be an artist.’ You said it and you did it…from being a dancer to a super star. Thank you for taking it there. Prayers go out to the family & TITCH GANG.”
International stars like Akon and Ruby Rose are just some of the names that also honoured the late musician. Akon took to his Instagram to share what Costa Titch meant to him and how much of a good artist he was, as he had recently signed under his music label–Konvict Kulture. Ruby Rose posted a sympathetic “RIP COSTA TITCH”.
