Details On Loyiso MacDonald‘s Exit From The Queen Mzansi Telenovela. It comes with great sadness to report that TV favourite actor Loyiso McDonald is set to exit award winning telenovela The Queen. Like every actor, there comes a time when an entertainer has to spread their wings in a more challenging direction by seeking new opportunity’s and sadly the time for Loyiso has arrived.
Entertainment broadcast reporter Phil Mphela recently reported that MacDonald who plays the role of Kagiso Khoza is set to bed farewell to award winning show The Queen after fives years. According to Mphela, it was Loyiso who chose to exit the show simply because he is ready to move on. It’s not clear as to what the actor is planning on doing next, but we are ready to see him grow as an actor in more challenging roles.
The Queen producer’s previously mentioned that the show has no bad blood with any of the actors who have left the show however, it is part of the entertainment industry for shows to let go of old actors and bring in new faces to keep the spark of the show alive.
Another Tv favourite who recently made a grand exit from the show just a few weeks ago is actor Xolani Mayekiso. After a tear jerking performance, Mayekiso was killed off the show, and viewers are still in awe of his exit. Taking to social media, Xolani penned a heartfelt thank you message to the production, claiming that the opportunity has been a life changing one since joining the show in 2017 playing the role of Thato.
“Thank you for welcoming “Thato” in to your homes from season 2. The opportunity has been amazing. What a journey… I’m so grateful. Itsss a WRAP guys” he wrote.
Mayekiso’s fans will be happy to know that the actor is set to appear in an upcoming local film set to premier in 2022. According to Phil Mphela, the film is titled The Gang, and the production is already in motion.
