Denise Zimba Reveals Ayanda Thabethe’s Response When She Reached Out To Apologize About The “Talentless” Remark. As we get older we learn very valuable lessons in life and new mother Denise Zimba is sharing the golden lesson she has learned since setting foot in the industry. the former V-entertainment presenter is known for her unapologetic statement and bubbly personality.
Taking to twitter, the OK singer reflected on a shady moment she had with Ayanda Thabethe in 2017. The mother of one was asked by Nomuzi what she thought about Ayanda Thabethe on an episode of V-entertainment’s show The Round Table. Denise claimed that Thabethe was indeed beautiful but was talentless when it came to presenting.
The new mother shared how becoming a parent knocked some sense in to her and changed her for the better. Denise claims she was humbled by the new life she brought into the world, which also reminded her of the person that she really is.
Going back on the incident, Zimba shared that she has since fixed the bad blood between herself and Ayanda via text and everything is all good now. The musician reflected on how she could have better handled the situation at that moment however, she has since learned the lesson.
“One person I contacted.. @AyandaThabethe_ As much as I had an opinion about what I was asked about her, I could have managed that differently. I messaged her to apologize, and understood how my reaction could affected her at the time” she wrote.
Denise described Ayanda’s response to her apology as loving and understanding. Even though she is entitled to her opinion of which she still stands by, she maintains that she was wrong, and her actions did weigh on her shoulders a lot.
“.. Always graceful and peaceful she replied..and so much love and understanding. There are however many other feelings I have had about many things, and will still stand by them. But as much as my intent was not malicious, it had an affect … and for that I do apologize” Zimba wrote.
Ayanda responded to Denise with a heart emoji confirming that things are all good in the hood, and life has officially moved on.
