Connie Ferguson’s Ongoing Battle With Chronic Depression! Over the years, Connie Ferguson has become an icon in the media industry for juggling multiple roles in her career from acting, producing and being a focused and fierce businesswoman which is why we can easily say she is an inspiration to many women in Mzansi.

Connie recently showed us her youthful side as she graced the cover of the April issue of Glamour Magazine where she opened up about her daily struggle with depression. In the mind and body themed issue Ferguson shared an intimate secret that she has been silently battling with over the years which many women around the world constantly fight though many have sadly succumbed to.

The 49 Year-old revealed that she suffers from chronic depression but in recent times has found the light at the end of the tunnel by ditching the antidepressants and adopting healthy ways to overcome the dark times.
“I usually get depressed during the winter, but this the first time in two years that I haven’t been on antidepressants and it’s mainly due to exercise.”

Being a leading lady in a male dominated industry has also taken its toll on the media mogul admitting although working with her husband Shona Ferguson has its perks, the pressure of working with her husband can be overwhelming.

Like many other women The ‘The Queen actress relates to ordinary women as she also has been dealing with many other insecurities with her body but has seemingly turned it in to a positive by regularly posting her intense workout sessions on her Instagram.

Connie Ferguson has become a house hold name and a true inspiration to many by showing us that no matter the whether a queen always fixes her crown and keeps it moving.
