Christall Kay’s return to The Real Housewives universe has sparked one of the most talked-about bullying controversies the franchise has seen in years, with viewers reacting strongly to scenes that left the star visibly isolated and hurt. The drama unfolded on the latest episode of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa Rio, which aired on Showmax and immediately set social media alight.

Fans were left stunned as the episode showed Christall being ridiculed, excluded and repeatedly targeted by fellow cast members. Throughout the tense moments, one person stood firmly by her side: Madam Evodia Mogase. While others remained silent or joined in, Madam consistently showed support, offering Christall comfort during what many viewers described as an uncomfortable and painful episode to watch.

Madam Evodia Mogase is a South African reality TV star, businesswoman and motivational speaker, best known for her flamboyant personality on shows such as The Real Housewives of Johannesburg and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa. Her calm but firm presence during the episode quickly earned her praise from fans, many of whom applauded her for showing compassion when it mattered most.

In an exclusive interview with The Citizen, an emotional Christall opened up about the experience, describing it as the harshest ordeal she has ever faced in her time on the franchise.

“This was the worst attack on me that I’ve ever experienced,” she said. “I’ve done season one, 24 episodes, season two, and the first Ultimate Girls Trip, and nothing compares to this.”

She added that amid all the chaos and negativity, one genuine bond emerged from the trip. “Madame is a beautiful person inside and out who was there for me throughout the trip,” she said.

Recently, Christall Kay publicly thanked Madam for being there for her during the difficult time. She shared pictures of the two of them together and wrote, “Despite those bullies! Rio was a blast. Thanks Madam for your love and friendship!” The post quickly gained attention, with fans praising the friendship and solidarity between the two stars.

Madam Evodia Mogase and Christall Kay were both prominent cast members on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg season one, and they recently reunited on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa, with Evodia returning and Christall making her comeback to the franchise.

The comments section was filled with messages applauding Madam for her kindness. Daniellabugera commented, “@madamevodia you are an inspiration on how to treat fellow women. Despite what happened on RHOJ you didn’t tag team with the other women to hurt another woman. You stood your ground and protected your fellow sister – a true depiction of Ubuntu! I am rooting for you guys, and I AM ONLY WATCHING BECAUSE OF THE BOTH OF YOU! So proud! I hope y’all’s relationship flourishes!”

Another user, Pilulemajola, added, “I love Madame, too. She showed humanity. Sending love to you. The universe will deal with Angel, Miriam, and Princess.”
