We’re about 18 days away from Fill Up The Dome and Cassper has opened up about the actual finances that it will take to pull off the whole show.

With a little over 4 000 tickets left for the even Cassper is more than close to achieving his dream.

Speaking at a conference about the concert the rapper reveals that the support from fans has been really overwhelming for him.

“We’re actually blown away, we actually thought we would need TV. We actually had a TV sponsor that we were looking at but we ended up not getting. For us it’s already a success. The ticket is written ‘with Cassper Nyovest’, we didn’t advertise. The way people have been responding to this has been nothing short of amazing.”

The rapper has always said that FillUpTheDome has always been about the fans and to inspire others to reach out for their fans. He also adds that even though it’s a huge event, he won’t be making any money from the event.

“I’m not making any money from #FillUpTheDome. I see a lot of people tweeting ‘yo Cass, he gon’ kill it, he gon’ make R4 million’. I’m losing money from the Dome, but for me it’s how many kids am I going to inspire?”

The rapper then adds that it’s really hard to make money from the event because, unfortunately, you can’t charge R900 to come see Cassper Nyovest. “People have to be convinced. Next year maybe if we do the Dome we can do that and make a profit, but right now we need to invest in the dream.”

He goes on to explain that the whole show will cost him R4.8 million, and selling out the tickets will only make R3.2 million. “So from the onset, even when you set up, you lose money, you don’t make money from it.” Perhaps it is time for Cassper to visit a site similar to 888mega download to see if he can make the money back that way, many people seem to be having success with that anyway!

A number of artists have come out in their strengths to support the rapper including, Riky Rick, Major League and Anatii. Cassper is set to perform all his hit tracks and all his features with other artists.
