Cassper Nyovest is set to perform in Zimbabwe on the 25th of April. With the current xenophobia attacks taking place in our country Zimbabwean social media has been circulating a picture that basically threatens that if Cassper doesn’t do anything about the xenophobia his show will not end or begin well.
Cassper has taken it upon himself to let Zimbabweans know that he is not a part of the xenophobic attacks and with that Cassper has decided to donate all his proceedings mad from the show to xenophobia survivors.
This is a very noble thing for Cassper to do and we really commend him for his kindness he’s stepping up as public figure and being a part of the solution.
So yes regardless of all the threats towards Cassper is still set to perform in Zimbabwe, he also tweeted in Shona to let the people of Zimbabwe know that all will be well if we stick together.
Check out Cassper’s tweets below with translations.
I’m still coming…
What’s happening here at home is mad disgusting but I am coming to Zimbabwe. I will not live in fear to be in the hands of my brothers. Actually I want to donate all my proceeds for my show in Zimbabwe next week to Xenophobia Survivors. I will come perform for free.
On your side…
I am praying with you…
“I am also praying with you so what’s currently happening comes to an end. Just know that Cassper loves you all.”
We are all African…
“People of Zimbabwe do not cry. God will intervene on what’s happening here. We are all African.”
