Well, we’d be lying if we say we saw this coming at least on the Minnie part. But if there’s one thing we know about Bonang, she’s all about everyone flourishing and that being celebrated. Bonang defends AKA and Minnie’s surprise videos on social media.
After Minnie Dlamini and AKA shared videos of their mother’s reaction when they surprised them with brand new cars (in separate events), some people on social media were not feeling the new trend.
One twitter user tweeted, “Why cant these celebs do things for their parents without flaunting their gesture on social media! ‘Mom Im gna get u a car, act surprised’,” Bonang’s response was savage but humble as always.
The media personality came to AKA and Minnie’s defense saying “why can’t people do what they want with their money and data”. “… Let’s allow people to flourish my love. And let’s keep our insecurities to ourselves,” she tweeted.
