The rumors could be true if you believe Sunday World’s latest claims. Boity reportedly underwent Sangoma training and she was also spotted wearing Sangoma beads on the SAMAs red carpet.
According to Sunday World, Boity confirmed to them that she had heeded her ancestral call to become a traditional healer and already completed the Sangoma training.
“Yes I did go thwasa but I’m not going to practice as a sangoma. This is a very sensitive matter that I don’t want to talk about in the media. It’s a personal matter and way too deep to be reduced into a celebrity gossip in the newspaper. It’s a secret. It’s so much deeper,” she told the publication.
Asked to disclose her trainer and where she underwent her training, Boity kept it to herself. “It’s a secret. I can’t disclose that,” she said.
