Former Big Brother Mzansi stars and real-life couple Gash1 and Thato are stepping into the world of acting together. The duo will make their debut on the popular SABC 1 soapie Generations: The Legacy this week, playing the roles of Cindy and Thabo.
Thato shared the exciting news on her social media, writing, “Meet ‘Cindy’ and ‘Thabo’ on Generations: The Legacy on SABC 1 at 8:00 PM, or stream on sabc-plus.com.”
Reflecting on her journey, Thato expressed her gratitude for the opportunity. “If you asked me when I was 17, when I started in community theatre, if I thought I’d ever book a role on Generations: The Legacy with my real husband as my co-star, I would’ve laughed. God is so funny! I love Him,” she shared, quoting Ephesians 3:20 to highlight her faith.
