The BCCSA Finds Generations Not Guilty! According to several reports, the BCCSA received over 160 complaints about the episode in question. This comes after fans of the show complained saying the s*x scenes were too steamy.

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) shared their rulings and finding with regards to that Generations episodes when Smanga (played by Moopi Mothibeli) and Thabi (played by Mo Setumo) engaged in some BDSM, considering what BDSM scenes on sites like full tube can get like it was a bit of a stretch to call what they engaged in an act of BDSM fetishism, nevertheless their findings have been concluded.

In order for the BCCSA to pursue complaints, they have to be submitted in writing.

Despite the production being found not guilty, from now on, the show has to place the following audience advisory message on screen as a warning for “ultra-suggestive” scenes:

“Today’s episode may contain some scenes which involve suggestive sex. Viewer discretion is advised.”
