South African content creator Ash-ley Ogle recently turned heads at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2026, which took place on Saturday, 9 May 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria. The prestigious awards ceremony celebrates outstanding achievements in television and film across Africa and is hosted annually at the Exhibition Center of the Eko Hotel & Suites in partnership with Canal+.
The reality TV star and influencer gave fans a glimpse into her glamorous trip through a series of Instagram posts, where she showcased the stunning outfits she wore during the event. Ash-ley made sure her first appearance left a lasting impression as she stepped out in an elegant red gown that immediately caught attention on the red carpet.
Sharing photos of the look, she wrote, “First time in Nigeria, and I couldn’t just show up… I had to embody the beauty, boldness, and creativity l’ve felt since landing. Tonight’s look? Soft, regal, and unforgettable… every detail understood the assignment. So be honest, what Nigerian name are we giving me?”
The breathtaking red dress was designed by Estaz Bridal, who also shared the inspiration behind the striking piece. The brand explained that they “created a striking red piece designed to command attention from every angle. Bold in presence, unforgettable in detail, and impossible to ignore the moment she stepped onto the carpet. Because at Estaz, we believe fashion should make a statement before you even speak. And this look said everything.”
Ash-ley later returned with a completely different look for her second appearance at the awards. This time, she wore a beautiful brown-and-white cow print dress that celebrated her African roots and culture. Alongside the photos, she reflected on her journey and how meaningful the experience in Nigeria was for her.
“I’m just a girl from a gully in KZN-South Africa. Richly blessed in assorted roots. Tonight I get to experience some of those roots in Nigeria through entertainment and our African superstars, preparing me to be one,” she wrote.
She added, “Impilo enhle, inhliziyo enhle. This dress embodies beauty, strength and resilience of a woman.”
From glamorous fashion moments to heartfelt reflections, Ash-ley’s time at the AMVCA clearly became one of her most memorable experiences yet. The content creator also thanked Nigerians and her supporters for embracing her during her visit.
“Nigeria, thank you for the love, warmth, and unforgettable memories. My heart is so full, and I’m leaving with nothing but gratitude. Signing out…. Chioma,” she wrote.
