Mzansi Magic viewers are in for something special as they are invited to an exclusive sit down with Anele Mgudlwa, and the cast of Inimba, as they unpack the moments, tensions and turning points that defined season 1, while building momentum for the much-anticipated season 2.
The special, titled Inimba: Inside the Magic, promises to give fans a closer look at the drama that kept them glued to their screens. The show brings 947 Breakfast Show host and devoted fan of the show Mgudlwa into conversation with the stars of the beloved telenovela in a special two-part roundtable.
Known for her bold personality and vibrant energy, Anele is expected to guide the discussion in a way that is both honest and entertaining. She promises to steer the special with the energy fans know her for, stirring up the big questions as she engages Lunathi Mampofu (Zoleka), Sisa Hewana (Hlathi), Zenande Mfenyana (Thumeka), Loyiso MacDonald (Lazarus), Siyabonga Shibe (Sydney), and Ayakha Ntunja (Qhawe).
Fans who have been debating storylines and character decisions all season can finally expect some real answers.
“Inimba is part of our daily lives, we pick apart the drama, all because we want answers,” says Mgudlwa. “This is the first time that a platform is given for the fanbase to get answers directly from the cast … it’s like our own Inimba commission.”
The special will not just revisit the drama but will also dive deeper into the characters and their motivations. Mgudlwa promises that viewers are in for an emotional and honest discussion.
According to her, audiences can expect “answers, accountability, a deeper understanding of each character’s point of view, loads of laughter, anger, and some surprising takes on things we thought had been resolved kanti … it’s only starting and there is also a major announcement to look forward to”, Mgudlwa teases.
The roundtable forms part of a weeklong special celebrating the creative world of Inimba. It aims to give viewers exclusive moments and meaningful insights, while setting the stage for season 2, which officially launches on 2 March.

Inimba: Inside the Magic will air on Mzansi Magic on Thursday 19 February and Friday 20 February at 21:00. The special will also be available on DStv Stream and Catch Up.
