Actress and model Lungile Duma, now Mahlangu, known for her role as Zithulele on the Showmax Original series Adulting, is officially off the market. The star recently married in a grand celebration at the picturesque Lythwood Lodge in Bulwer, Kwa-Zulu-Natal.
The lavish three-day event, coming just two months after her lobola negotiations, showcased the bride in stunning outfits by local designers Imprint, Urban Zulu, and MP Designers. Lungile shared her joy with her fans on Instagram, posting, “I said I Do! 25/05/24….Becoming Mrs. Mahlangu.”
In Adulting, Lungile portrayed a mother of twins and a wife, a role she revealed helped her prepare for real-life marriage. “It was not easy for me to get into the role of Zithulele. I had no experience with children and could not relate to marital issues. It helped to give me a clearer perspective and made me slightly prepared,” she told ZiMoja.
Lungile’s wedding has been the talk of the town, with fans and fellow celebrities showering her with congratulations and well-wishes for her new journey as Mrs. Mahlangu.
