She wrote: “2016 a year of shine, speed… and people I’ll never forget. Broke the internet in a little pink dress. Hosted the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards in Nigeria. Came home to host the South African Film and Television Awards.

Led NedBank Ke Yona Team Search, helping unearth future PSL stars, one now wearing Bafana Bafana colours on the road to the World Cup > Survived Tropika Island of Treasure Hosted the Essence Music Festival Durban.

Fronted a national Dentyne campaign. Rolled out the Woolworths x Pharrell Williams campaign.

Did SoccerZone, and officially stepped into my SuperSport era. PSL Awards, Sports Awards… I solidified myself as one of the most formidable Hosts on the continent

I was in London, Lagos and New York # Living it up, private jets… I was too nice. I also got engaged but we can skip that part lol.

That same year, I won two YOU Spectacular Awards in one night Sexiest Woman in South Africa and Social Media Star.”

Minnie also shared lighter moments from that time, writing: “Four very handsome men in the picture decided they were all my dates (one even declared himself thigh security. Truth? My real date was @lies laurie the boys were just vibes and jokes”

The post took a more emotional turn as she reflected on the loss of people close to her: “Since then, time has passed and so have some beautiful souls captured in these memories. We’ve lost Siphiwe Mkonza, Dr Mnandi. We’ve lost Kuli Roberts, whose light filled every room. And recently, my boy @shady_lurker

Three lives. One picture. Infinite memories. A little pink dress. A very full year. Grateful for the wins, the work, the laughter and the people who shaped that chapter. And I’m still at it.”
