Anele Tembe’s Family Lawyer Lists Reasons Why They Believe AKA Killed His Fiancée. The passing of the late rapper’s fiancée in 2021, that transpired at the 10th floor of Cape Town hotel shook many people when it occurred—things got even complicated following many speculations that the family believed the rapper had some involvement in her death.

Anele Tembe’s unsolved death seem to be one her family is determined to solve. The family’s legal representatives, TM Incorporated Attorneys reportedly wrote a lengthy letter to the National Prosecuting Authority(NPA), two weeks after it was revealed that AKA would not be prosecuted. The letter contained evidence that the family believed was enough to prosecute the rapper.

Following AKA’s assassination on the 10th of February, 2023 in Durban, many people have been theorizing on who would have wanted the rapper dead. Anele’s father, Moses Tembe’s name made the list of public suspects. Moses Tembe has since released a statement distancing himself and his family from the allegations, labeling them, “cruel, libellous and have caused emotional harm”.

The letter sent to the NPA by the family lawyer however sheds light on how the family feels. Here are the reasons why the family reportedly believe AKA killed Anele:

1. The receptionist and AKA were allegedly untruthful when they gave out their statements, NPA allegedly didn’t scrutinise the details and ignored crucial information.

2. Video footage capturing her fall reportedly does not corroborate AKA’s version of events he made in the phone call.

3. It is also said that a witness made a testimonial statement — Rob Stefanutto reportedly said he heard two individuals in a heated argument, the voice and of a man and a woman in a room which happened to have turned out to be Anele and AKA’s room.

4. There were allegedly blood splatters found in the hotel room and also AKA’s body was bruised with scratch marks on his back which the family believes means that she was carried over his shoulders while she was fighting him to not allegedly throw her.

5. The family says investigative authorities didn’t take into account that her body would have landed two metres away from the building if she killed herself. Instead she landed five and a half metres away from the hotel building.

6. There were reportedly no fingerprint grips found on the balustrade of the balcony, this would have meant that before falling to her death she first climbed and then fell to her death.
