Social Media Not Impressed With Primary School Kids Singing A Hate Song About Kelly Khumalo. There is not a week that passes without award winning singer Kelly Khumalo making headlines and social media top trending lists. Sometimes it for her music, sometimes her personal relationships and the men she has been linked to. In all this, social media, especially black twitter is often divided.

This time however, the singer seem to be getting support from black twitter following a viral video of young primary school kids who were recorded singing and chanting a hate song about Kelly. “I hate Kelly Khumalo, she is a b*** from Joburg,” are some of the disturbing the lyrics of the vulgar song the kids were singing.

The Legal SA reported that the Department of Education is investigating how the primary school pupils were recorded in class chanting a hate song against the singer. Black twitter however has already concluded a verdict on the matter deeming it disturbing and not funny. Most tweeps felt that the kids should not be singing such hate and other expressed concern over what the pupils are being taught at that school.

Watch the video below and some reactions from black twitter.

Kids singing they hate Kelly Khumalo and south africans rejoicing when the song kids sing a derogatory song about a woman who may even be older than their moms. South africans we seem to have forgotten our values. Why promote toxicity? sad country

I am not the biggest fan of Kelly Khumalo but we cannot allow our kids kindergarden songs to degenerate into disrespectful grudge songs. In any event, pirates teacher's recording this are out of order here!! https://t.co/8i9YxgBHHt

As a parent I wouldn’t be happy when my child comes back home from school singing ngiyamuzonda Kelly Khumalo,

I teach my child at home to love and respect people, can’t have a teacher messing that because of his/her hate towards Kelly Khumalo using my innocent child 💔💔 https://t.co/paETtsFLu9

I don’t find this funny at all… it’s disturbing… Regardless how the country feels about Kelly Khumalo this type of behaviour should not be tolerated… Children are like sponges, they absorb it all… pic.twitter.com/3KG7qsyffv
