One of South Africa’s most loved comedians Jason Goliath has been announced as the brand-new voice of the home of 24-hour comedy, Comedy Central Africa on DStv Channel 122. The funny man is set to make life funnier as he takes up the mic this May, where he will voice some of the channel’s most iconic moments, specials and features including the all new 10tertainment segment. This new segment will bring to viewers, only the best of the most hilarious international sitcoms and shows.
“After over a decade of working with Comedy Central, I’m still giddy with delight whenever I see myself on the network! Being the voice of one of my all-time favourite brands is something I’ve always wanted to do,” said Jason Goliath.
The popular comedian has worked with the channel on a number of projects, including the most recent seasons of the SAFTA-nominated Comedy Central Live at the Savanna Virtual Comedy Bar. As part of being the voice of Comedy Central, Jason Goliath will feature in the channel’s 10tertainment feature which is hosted by different comedic talent every month. The feature promises that every weekday at 22:00 CAT, viewers will get to see some of their favourite sitcoms like they have never seen them before, curated in specific themes for a premium viewing experience and hosted by some of South Africa’s favourite faces.
