Watch! Is This Connie Ferguson’s Response To Reports About ‘The Queen Mzansi’ Getting Cancelled? Earlier this week, entertainment news reporter, Phil Mphela made three statement concerning Mzansi Magic hit telenovela, ‘The Queen Mzansi’s future and two of its actors. Statements which he seem to still stand by still despite the production and actors rubbishing his claims.
Phil reported that actress Brenda Ngxoli had left the show after an agreement on her salary could not be reache. He also claimed actor Vuyo Ngcukana was fired from the show. Both actors denied the reports. Phil went on to report that ‘The Queen Mzansi was getting cancelled after seven seven seasons on air.
“TV: #TheQueenMzansi CANCELLED After almost 7 years on air, the Mzansi Magic telenovela will not be renewed for another season. Barring any changes to accommodate wrapping the storylines, the show will likely end this year,” Phil tweeted.
Whilst Ferguson Films casting director, Lesedi Motsunyane-Ferguson only responded to the reports about the actors, she stayed mum on reports of the show being canned but her mother and star of the show, Connie Ferguson seem to have subtly responded. The actress and producer shared a video on Instagram laughing with some of the cast and crew of ‘The Queen Mzansi’. “#medicine? Happy Thursday eerbody.?❤️,” she captioned the video.
