Teko Modise Addresses Abuse Allegations Made By Ex Fiancee Lizelle Tabane Following Their Split. Many celebs have had abuse allegations levelled against them and few of them were given the opportunity to tell their side of the story. Award winning soccer star Teko Modise also has a history of alleged abuse according to his previous partners but this time he is setting the record straight.

Modise recently sat down with MacG on the latest episode of Podcast And Chill where he opened up about various topic including his past relationships. Teko was previously involved with model and socialite Lizelle Tabane in 2013 and the pair also got engaged in the same year. Things then took a drastic turn after it was reported that Teko demanded a refund on the lobola he paid for her.

The pair apparently had a toxic on and off relationship and Tabane has allegedly cheated on Modise a few time while they were still together. Shortly after their breakup, the media revealed shocking pictures of a bruised and bleeding Tabane, which were taken two years ago. In the pictures, she is seen with a cut on her forehead, a large bruise over her left eye, a bleeding nose and bruises on her neck.

Tabane accused Teko of abusing her during their relationship however, Teko now says that he was falsely accused of abusing Lizelle. According to the soccer star, someone else had assaulted but she used them against him.

“I remember when we started dating there were pictures on her phone. I think somebody abused her or something like that. She had scars and all of that stuff, right. So when we broke up… she took the same pictures… the same pictures went to the media and said I was beating her up,” said Teko.

Modise shared how scared he was at the time of the allegations because of his career and endorsements that were are risk. Teko claims that Lizelle is a beautiful woman and he didn’t expect that from her because he trusted her.

Teko revealed that Lizelle wanted to speak to him following the allegations she made and he recorded her but thought twice about exposing her. According to Teko, Lizelle was influenced by a lot of her friends to do what she did after he ended things with her. Teko says that him being the one to end things didn’t sit well with Tabane and she decided to get back at him.
