Jub Jub On His Relationship With Amanda Du Pont And What Led To Their Break Up. The dating game is tough in that some people don’t know what they have until it’s gone and that what happened to rapper and TV personality Jub Jub with the former love of his life Amanda Du Pont. MacG’s celebrity edition podcast ended off with a bang as the last episode premiered on Channel O yesterday.
The much anticipated episode trended before it aired on the channel and now that it has finally debuted, the streets are going wild. The controversial TV personality and rapper spoke about various topic including his past relationships, his baby mama drama with Kelly Khumalo, and of course his prison sentence among many other things.
Some juicy revelations were made about the rapper during the interview but we are dying over the tea he spilt about his past relationships. Jub Jub real name Molemo Katleho Maarohanye revealed that before he went to jail, he used to date actress and TV personality Amanda Du Pont. The rapper revealed that he dated Amanda for three years while she was still studying at AFDA.
The pairs relationship was so serious that they moved in together in a place South of Johannesburg while they were dating but the rapper was caught up in the fame and other temptations that came with it.
“When I dated Amanda she was still at AFDA, the relationship went on for about three years. We stayed together in the South” he said.
Jub Jub said, while he was in a relationship with Amanda, he also had a side chick which was Kelly Khumalo. After fooling around with Kelly for a while, the media printed a picture of them together and when he returned home, he found that Du Pont had moved out of their home. Molemo also accused Kelly of using Muthi to trap men and alluded to her having done the same thing to him.
Du Pont got engaged to longtime boyfriend Shawn Rodriques back in 2018 in Mauritius and whilst we thought she’d announce her wedding date soon after, she then revealed in a post that she already got married and they are still going very strong. The actress is clearly the one that got away for Jub Jub and we wonder if he regrets it or not.
