Thuli Phongolo Announces Her Cool International Movie Gig. DJ and actress Thuli Phongolo has been putting in the hard work and it has been paying off in a major way. The actress has been hinting on social media that her stars were aligning career wise and she is grateful for the blessings.
The Rockville actress has been booked and busy in the DJ-ing industry, having shared her gig guide on social media. Thuli has also gotten the opportunity to work very closely with Maphorisa, which is a very huge deal.
Phongolo is not only a boss when it comes to the decks but she has also been making her own music on the side. Her unreleased music is already a big deal around the world, as it’s gotten the attention of film producers all the way in France.
Taking to twitter, Thuli shared the exciting news of her unreleased songs that are going to be used in a french movie. Phongolo reveals the film will be available on Netflix so fans can witness the awesome milestone themselves.
“Now that everything is signed, sealed and delivered! This happened this week!!! My unreleased songs already being used for a French movie that will be on Netflix… WHO AM I??? Pinch me” she wrote.
The actress shared a screenshot of the the texts between her and the films representative claiming they would love to use two out of three of her song, and the producers of the movie will be in touch with her soon.
Thuli recently revealed her previous win after bagging a role on the upcoming production Hlomu: The Wife which will be premiering on Showmax.
Taking to twitter, Thuli revealed how much fun she has been having on the set of the production, claiming that the whole cast has been a pleasure to work with and they have become like a family.
The show will be premiering November 11th and is set to star many familiar faces including the likes of Sipho Ndlovu, Abdul Khoza, Mondli Makhoba, Thulane Shange, Linda Majola, Bongani Gumede, Dumisani Dlamini, Siyabonga Shibe and Zikhona Sodlaka.
