These Are The Celebs Announced As The 2021 Miss South Africa Judging Panel. The 2021 Miss South Africa pageant is almost here and the festivities are already in full motion. The time to crown a new Miss South Africa who will take over from 2020 winner Shudufhadzo Musida is almost here, and the excitement is growing by the minute.
A few weeks ago the platform revealed that the prestigious night will be co-hosted by 947 radio host Anele Mdoda and actor Nico Panagio. Backstage duties for the night will be handled by former Miss SA and Miss Universe winner Zozibini Tunzi alongside 2018 Miss Universe winner Catriona Gray.
After much anticipation the Miss South Africa competition has finally let the cat out of the bag and revealed the panel that will be faced with making the tough decision on the night. Part of the judging panel for the night is 1994 Miss South Africa winner and Miss World runner up Basetsana Kumalo, 2018 Miss SA winner Tamaryn Green and more.
The star studded panel also includes the likes of Metro FM radio host and award winning TV personality Dineo Ranaka, popular actress Shannon Esra and UCT Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamokgheti Phakeng among many other phenomenal women on the all female panel.
Previous judges for the completion include Miss South Africa judging veteran Anele Mdoda and former Miss South Africa title holders Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, Liesl Laurie and Adè van Heerden.
Taking to Instagram, Ranaka shared how unexpected the opportunity was and how super proud and excited she is to be a part of the life changing experience.
“I literally never saw this one coming and that’s why I am SUPER excited to announce that I am on the official selection panel of the Miss South Africa 2021 Finale” she wrote.
The official night will take place October 16 at the Cape Town Grand Arena, Grandwest and will broadcast live on Mnet and Mzansi Magic at 17:00pm.
