Somizi has had more time on his hands recently following his abuse scandal which ended up with him having to step down from his working gigs such as Metro FM and Idols SA. The veteran personality who is known as an award winning choreographer has been very busy over the years due to his growing popularity.
Taking to Instagram, Somgaga revealed that he has returned to his first love of dancing and choreographing following a lengthy hiatus. The celebrity cook shared a video of himself teaching a routine to his dance class which is scheduled for two day. The former SA Idols judge shared that his comeback to the world of dancing feels very good after a two year break.
“Day 1 of dance rehearsals after 2 years of taking a break from choreographing, it’s good to be back” he wrote.
Somizi’s followers congratulated the star on picking himself up and continuing to shine amidst the storm that has been brewing in the public eye.
The celebrity chef has been emerging from the shadows since the scandal came to light as he will soon be making an appearance on Cassper’s Braai Show. Following the revelation of his guest appearance, social media users called out the media for forgetting about the allegations made against the star and seem to have forgiven him. Somizi stans have however defended the veteran star claiming that nobody deserves to have their livelihood stripped away from them and are happy to see him back.
Social media users have also been campaigning on twitter to try and get the veteran star back on SA Idols as the singing competition has now become “boring”. Viewers have apparently stopped watching the show and the ratings have reportedly hit rock bottom since Somizi’s departure, leaving Unathi and Randal on the panel.
This follows a viral audio of Mohale detailing the times that he has allegedly been abused by his estranged husband, the whole of South Africa stood in support of Mohale and demanded that Somizi be cancelled. He was then given time away from his Metro FM and Idols gig to sort out his personal issue.
