SA Celebs Nominated At The Sebenza Women Awards. Womens month is almost coming to an end however, the TV industry hasn’t stopped celebrating them as of yet. The Sebenza Women Awards have revealed their nominees for the platform that aims reward game-changers and innovative women doing exceptional work in their different sectors.

The platform has announced all of this years nominees on their Instagram account and they have a special category for women in acting. The category has nominated some of the industries favourite faces on popular television programs such as Durban Gen, Imbewu and more.

Nominated in the category is Durban Gens Neliswa Sibiya who play Dr Mbali Mthethwa, Uzalo’s Nomilo maphumulo also known as Nosipho on the show, DiepCity’s Nozuko Ncayiyane who is known for her role as Nox on the Mzansi Magic telenovela has also received a nod in the category.

Durban Gen is leading with the nominations after actress Lihle Dlomo also received a nomination as well as Imbewu actress Phindile Gwala. The awards work using a voting system which is charged at R2 for one vote. The public are encourage to vote as many times as possible to increase the chances of their fave walking away with the award.

The actress have reacted to their nominations and have individually thanked their followers for all the support and most importantly the platform for giving them the recognition.
