Thembisa Nxumalo Reveals How Much Time She’s Taking Off Work Following Her Lengthy Battle With COVID-19. We have lost many great entertainers due to the pandemic and now that the vaccine roll out is underway, we are hoping that the loss will hopefully take a much needed break. Award winning actress Thembisa Nxumalo is one of the many celebrities who have had a rough battle against the Coronavirus and we are happy to hear that she is officially out of danger.
Taking to social media the former OPW host thanked her fans for the support and released a statement opening up about the her experience with the dreaded virus. Sharing that she contracted the virus in April, The actress reveals that she was in and out of hospital where she received the best medical care. Thembisa who spent a full month in hospital shared that she was very frightened by the experience however she remains grateful to her family for being the support that she needs.
The Queen actress also extended her gratitude to the medical team who took care of her during her stay. the many deaths we have witnessed has made Thembisa realize how blesses she is to be able to leave the hospital and go be with her loved ones again. The mother of three expressed how she doesn’t take the blessing of life for-granted because other were not lucky enough to have seen the same fate.
Thembisa is booked off work for up to six months where she will be recovering at home. Although she is anticipating making her return to the small screen, Nxumalo has vowed to focus on her priorities which is her health and wellbeing. Fellow celebrity friends and followers shared how happy they are to hear the news and are praying for her to make a full recovery.
Big sister Anele Mdoda recently came out to give fans an update about her sister’s condition following the news of Thembisa fighting for her life in hospital. The statement revealed that Nxumalo’s diagnosis was further aggravated by allergies however she was in good spirits and was fast recovering from the deadly virus.
