Gail Mabalane Bags A New Role In Upcoming Local Action Blockbuster Movie. Congratulations are in order for Blood And Water actress Gail Mabalane who is staying booked and busy while securing the bag. The stunning actress took to her social media to reveal her latest acting gig on an upcoming local movie that is set to bring all the action.

Gail shared a post revealing an upcoming film that she is starring in produced by Gambit Films titled Indemnity. The mother of two finally let the act out the bag after months of keeping the role on the low and she couldn’t be more proud of the production.

The film is based on an ex-Cape Town fireman Theo Abrams whose world is rocked one morning, when he wakes up next to his wife’s murdered body with no recollection of what transpired and all evidence suggesting that he’s killed her. When the police label him as the prime suspect, Theo goes on the run, and is soon being hunted by Deputy Chief of Police Alan Shard, who is a notoriously ruthless soldier of the law, hell-bent on catching Theo as one last act of service before he officially retires.

The blockbuster movie stars some of Mzansi’s very own top class actors including the likes of Jarrid Geduld, Andre Jacobs, Louw Venter, Nicole Fortuin, Abou Adams, Hlomla Dandala and of course the lovely Gail Mabalane.

According to the films website, the production was filmed during the global COVID-19 outbreak, resulting in the production being halted. Gambit Films revealed that they began filming in March 2020 after developing the feature film for 8 years.

Gail’s followers flooded the post with congratulatory messages, sharing how excited they are to see the actress bring her role to life but more importantly kick butt. Details as to when or where the film will be released are still not yet revealed but this one is definitely on out ‘movies to watch’ list.
