“They Didn’t Tell Me” Mampintsha’s Mother Speaks On The Birth Of Her Grandson. Gqom elite power couple Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane and her husband Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo recently welcomed their first child together and fans couldn’t be happier. Although many people have been showing the new family with well wishes, there is one person who feel particularly left out of the joyous moment.

According to the Daily Sun publication Maphumulo’s mother Zama Gumede was left in the dark about the pregnancy and had no idea that Simelane had given birth. According to the publication Gumede has revealed that her son has stopped visiting her and buying groceries after the viral video of her discrediting the vocalist’s pregnancy among other things.

Zama revealed that she was unaware that her daughter in law had given birth to a son, claiming that she heard from strangers as she was never personally told. She added that if the news is true, she hopes that she will one day get to see her grandson.

“I heard that Babes gave birth to a son. they didn’t tell me. I heard from strangers and what I said in the video is true and I stand by it, but if there is a son, I hope to see him one day and hold him because he is my grandson.” she said.

Mampintsha’s mother dragged the Simelane family not so long ago especially her now daughter in law of which she despises. Gumede called Babes shocking names including b**ch and also accused her of faking her pregnancy. This resulted in Wodumo threatening to press charges against her mother in law for dragging her reputation in the mud.

Zama is said to have been turned away from the couples big wedding after arriving drunk and making impossible demands. Wodumo shared that Gumede was not turned away because of spite and is more than welcome to attend the white wedding
