Bonang Matheba Suing Podcast Host For Saying She Introduced AKA To Drugs. It’s looking rather bleak for YouTube podcaster Rea Gopane after making serious allegations against Bonang Matheba. This after a recent clip of Rea began to circulate of him alleging that Matheba is responsible for introducing rapper Keirnan “AKA’ Forbes to cocaine.
This came after AKA’s fiance’s passing, when rumours were going around linking her death to substance abuse. On an episode of ‘The Rea and Black Step Podcast’, Gopane made some serious accusations about AKA and Bonang on the channel. During the conversation about AKA and his late fiance Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe, Rea claimed that Popcast host Siyabonga ‘Scoop’ Ngwekazi had told them that AKA is on cocaine and he was introduced to the drugs by Bonang Matheba.
“Scoop told us that AKA is on coke, and Bonang is the one that got him into cocaine. Scoop told us that, bro, after the interview we had him right here at this place,” Rea said.
After numerous attempts of contacting the YouTuber in order to retract his statement about her, B lawyered up and released a letter from her legal firm. The letter from her lawyers stated that the Rea had to publicly apologize to Matheba in all his social media platforms, and also pay Bonang an amount of R500 000 within 10 days.
“To this end I am instructed to demand from you, payment of the sum of R500,000 within 10 days. Should this sum not be paid within the time prescribed, I have instructions to issue summons without further notice to you Please provide your physical address to avoid summons being served via Instagram / and or Facebook .” the letter reads.
