5FM Suspends Two Members From Their Breakfast Show Team

Sol Phenduka has always been known for his “big mouth” and not so fresh comments that he blurts out before thinking about them, little did he know that not thinking before talking can cost you your job.

This morning on the “Fresh & Vrot” segment that airs during DJ Fresh’s breakfast show on 5FM, Sol Phenduka made some pretty uncalled for remakes regarding the murders of the van Breda family that was hacked to death not so long ago in Stellenbosch.

Sol’s comments were referring to the daughter Marli van Breda who was the soul survivor of her family, he said that it was “fresh” that she’s the only person who can identify the murderers.

Sol continued making jokes saying that he would love to “axe” her out since she’s so “gorgeous”.

(This is the moment where someone slaps Sol to tell him to shut up!)

Sol’s comments caused a stir on twitter and as a result 5FM management has decided to suspend Sol as well as the show’s producer, Brendon Lombard for three days.

Sol also apologised on twitter for his jokes and is still apologising to tweets sent to him by not so happy listeners.
