President Jacob Zuma officially opens the National House of Trad

Once again the presidents actions are being put to question, on the 24th of February an opposition motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma will be debated in National Assembly.

On November 4th Agang posed a motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma during the National Assembly.

“When I tabled the motion of no confidence I asked the Speaker that she not preside over the motion of no confidence and that she ensure the voting on the motion be done by way of secret ballot. She refused, confirming that she is not impartial when she acts in her capacity as Speaker,” said the Deputy President of Agang Andries Tlouamma.

Andries Tlouamma also added that it is important for the members of Parliament to vote against President Zuma without the fear of being persecuted for their vote.

The motion was placed on the schedule of the National Assembly at a programming committee meeting on Thursday morning.
