We waited f;pr years for the best rappers in SA to become “friends”/”acquaintances” or whatever you want to call it. The was unnecessary drama between Cassper Nyovest and AKA on social media for years not even months.
Some time last year Cassper mentioned that he would like to be in a collab with AKA. Then followed the Hip Hop Music Awards and well AKA came out as the man on top. A couple of days later the above picture was seen just before Christmas on Instagram with the rappers saying that that’s our Christmas gift from them.
Now it’s 2015 and we thought “YES, finally a collab from AKA and Cassper” well sorry mate you thought wrong!
AKA had a young sit down with City Press and was quoted saying “I don’t think I’ll do any collaborations with Cassper Nyovest any time soon.”
I don’t know if its me or, but that doesn’t sound like a collab will ever happen. Well it makes just a little I think the best way for these two make sales and see who’s the better man is to work against each other no?
In AKA’s relationship news he declined naming his lover to City Press but mentioned that she’s an entertainer and a businesswoman and that he’s in love with her he also added
“We’ll start a family when the time is right. Life is a journey.” is AKA saying he wants Zinhle to be his baby mama?
Well moving right along AKA was nominated for 6 awards at The Metro Fm Music Awards nominees announcement show last week. He was nominated along side Cassper in all 6 categories.
At least there won’t be any drama between the two at this awards ceremony. May the best man win!
