Oprah Winfrey On Why She Doesn’t Want To Have Kids

First of all Oprah, are you not a little too old to be talking about having kids? But that’s none of my bizness! *sips on tea*.

Oprah Winfrey doesn’t have any kids of her own although she insists that the girls that attend her school here in South Africa refer to her as “Mama Oprah” instead of Ms Winfrey or anything formal of that sort.

Oprah recently had an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and the ‘having children’ topic came up.

Oprah replied by saying: ”If I had kids, my kids would hate me,” she then added ”They would have ended up on the equivalent of the Oprah show talking about me.”

Mama Oprah however does have a man,  businessman Stedman Graham and their relationship has been steady for a solid 27 years, but apparently Oprah chose not to marry the business minded lad.

Oprah then compared herself to bestie Gayle King what their goals were growing up when it comes to family goals etc. Oprah was quoted saying:

”Gayle was the kind of kid who, in seventh grade . was writing down the names of her children while I was having daydreams about how I could be Martin Luther King.”

Shots fired or what? The Oprah Channel seems to be doing well though, maybe that’s why Mama Oprah doesn’t want no kids, they just need so much time, time she doesn’t have.
