Manaka Ranaka Reflects On Almost Not Keeping Her Daughter In Celebration Of Her 20th Birthday. Generations: The Legacy actress Manaka Ranaka has a lot to be thankful for, not only because she is about to be a mother all over again but her eldest daughter is growing into an adult which apparently is the best thing to witness for a mother.

In a lengthy Instagram post dedicated to her daughter whom is celebrating her 20th birthday, Ranaka reflected on the time she found out that she was pregnant and was advised by her colleagues to terminate the pregnancy, thankfully she stepped up to the plate and took care of her business like the strong woman she is.

“I remember when women I worked for told me to abort you and I was like la hlanya, they fired me! Honestly I didn’t care, coz I was so determined to keep you and enter the next chapter in my life and that was bieng a mom ( Lauren Hill’s song Zion kept me going when I felt that the world was against us)” she wrote.

20 years later the mother daughter duo share a bond like no other and if given the choice, she would probably do it again and couldn’t be any prouder of her pride and joy.

“I was ready man, .as young as they said I was, I was ready for you, and its been quiet a journey baby. A journey i would repeat anyday. Have a blessed day ngwanaka. You’ll always be my baby. You’ve always been my Joy. My ZION” Ranaka wrote.
