As you all know by now it is said that EFF leader Julius Malema is set to get married this weekend in his home town Seshego to accountant Mantwa Matlala. Well we would all think that the whole nation is invited and it’s an open wedding seeing that the politician likes media and public attention so much but no, that’s not the case.
If you don’t have an invite then you’re not welcome to attend the wedding, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema reportedly told Eyewitness News on Tuesday.
It is set to be a traditional wedding for mostly family members and the few that got the invite and are on the guest list for this big occasion.
“The ceremony will be private and those who don’t have invitations aren’t welcome. People mustn’t complain when they are turned away because they just rocked up without an invitation,” Julius Malema told Eyewitness News.
He says there will be tight security, which I believe is only standard procedure for a wedding of this nature and magnitude.
Julius Malema then reminds us that him being out in the public about his life does not mean that the family he is marrying in to wants to disclose the event to the public. “I’m marrying into a private family and I’m asking people to respect that.”
So if you’re in and around the area of Seshego this weekend, there you have it, don’t think you can try and sneak in for a quick picture because Juju said it himself “If you don’t have an invite then you’re not welcome to attend the wedding”
What do you think about this? Fair? or totally insane?
