Muvhango Goes On A Break As Production Member Gets Exposed To COVID-19. In more Coronavirus news, another production was forced to halt with production because of a production member who has been exposed to the respiratory virus.

The much loved soapie has released a statement on their Instagram account explaining that since these recent developments, Muvhango has implemented a precautionary measure to prevent further spreading of the virus as a result the production will be paused till further notice.

In a statement sent to TshisaLIVE, Hadebe confirmed the halt stating that the measure was taken to reduce the risk of exposure to Covid-19 on and off the set.

“We are prioritising safety of all staff members. We will be constantly monitoring the evolving situation and adapting our efforts and responses. We will continue working together with the SABC as we comply with Covid-19 regulations” said Hadebe.

It is unclear when shooting will resume but it is said that measures such as disinfection on the set are underway as Muvhango is the third big soapie to go on a break due to the COVID-19.
